Telusu Kada (2025)

Telusu Kada 2025: what kind of film is it?

Telusu Kada 2025 is a Telugu-language romantic drama directed by Neeraja Kona, who is credited with both story and screenplay and is described in the sources we saw as a debut director. The title translates roughly as "you know, right?", a conversational phrase that hints at the tone: relationship talk, unspoken assumptions and the awkward things couples avoid saying.

The lead is Varun, a chef, played by Siddhu Jonnalagadda. His marriage to Anjali is tested when the two begin planning a family and an unusual arrangement enters the story. The premise sits between comedy and emotional drama, and a love triangle element is part of the setup. For a film that leans on conversation rather than spectacle, the interest lies in how honestly the script handles a sensitive subject, and that is something only a viewing can settle. Readers who like to go in knowing the shape of the story will find the outline above enough; the specific turns are best left unspoiled.

Release date and where to watch

The film reached theatres on 17 October 2025, and was later reported to have a streaming run on Netflix, which is where most viewers will look today. A listing on one trade site gives a box-office figure without a date, so we are not quoting it. For streaming, reports say Netflix acquired the digital rights, but the sources we saw disagree on the exact premiere day (13 or 14 November 2025) and on which dubbed languages were offered. We have therefore not fixed a streaming date here. Check Netflix's own listing for current availability in your region.

Cast and crew to know

Raashii Khanna plays Anjali, Srinidhi Shetty plays Raaga Kumar, Varun's former girlfriend, and Harsha Chemudu appears as his friend Abhi. Thaman S composed the music, and People Media Factory produced the film. Runtime is listed as 135 minutes on Wikipedia, though other sites give slightly different figures, so treat it as approximate.

We have not seen the film. One reference summary says it received mixed reviews, which is worth knowing if you are deciding whether to try it.

Who might enjoy it

Viewers who like urban Telugu romances with a modern, talky approach to marriage and parenthood are the natural audience. If you prefer a conventional love story without a complicated family-planning theme, this may feel less comfortable.

Because the sources we saw disagree on runtime (135 or 136 minutes in two places, and a longer figure on a third), plan your evening with a small buffer. A mixed critical reception is mentioned in one reference summary, but we are not quoting scores or specific critics, since we have not seen the reviews in full and cannot verify them.
