Synopsis

Jeet Ki Zid 2026: what is confirmed and what is not
Jeet Ki Zid 2026 is a title that needs a careful note. A Digit Binge listing describes it as a Hindi film on ZEE5 dated 16 October 2026, rated U/A 16+, based on the real life of Major Deependra Singh Sengar. Separately, a seven-episode ZEE5 web series with the same name and the same real-life subject premiered in January 2021, starring Amit Sadh, directed by Vishal Mangalorkar. A blog also gives the October 2026 date, but the 2021 coverage conflicts with the idea of a brand-new project.
We could not confirm a cast, director or runtime for a 2026 film, and it may be that the 2026 listing is a re-listing of the earlier series. Until ZEE5 or the producers clarify, treat this page as thin.
The real story behind the title
The subject is Major Deependra Singh Sengar, who, according to the listing, was a Special Forces officer left paralysed from the waist down after an injury in the Kargil War. The synopsis stresses what came after: rebuilding daily life with his wife Jaya, and setting fresh goals while facing physical, emotional and social challenges.
That shape, recovery rather than combat, is what separates this from a typical war film. Whether the 2026 title follows the same material as the 2021 series is not something we can state.
Release date and where to watch
The one platform named is ZEE5, with 16 October 2026 as the listed release and streaming date. As that date has passed, a ZEE5 search is the most reliable way to see what the title currently points to.
If you are looking for the earlier version, ZEE5 coverage describes the 2021 series as a seven-episode run with Amit Sadh as Major Sengar and Amrita Puri as his wife.
We would rather say less than guess: no trailer, cast list or director for a 2026 film turned up in our search, so anything beyond the synopsis and platform above would be speculation. If more reliable details appear, this page should be updated before it is treated as a full guide.
Who it may suit
The theme points to viewers who respond to resilience stories and true accounts of military families. The U/A 16+ rating suggests it is not aimed at young children.
