Nawab Cafe (2026)

Nawab Cafe 2026: a small Telugu drama with a short paper trail

Nawab Cafe 2026 is a Telugu-language drama, written and directed by Pramod Harsha and produced by Radha V Papudippu under the banner Harshika Productions. Wikipedia lists the main cast as Shiva Kandukuri as Raja, Rajeev Kanakala as Raja's father Ranganatham, and Teju Ashwini as Sakhi, with Chaitanya Krishna as Kumar and Mani Chandana as Raja's mother.

The honest limit of what we know: neither Wikipedia nor the other listings we saw include a plot summary. The title suggests a cafe setting and the cast list suggests a story built around a young man and his family, but we have not seen a synopsis from the makers that confirms either guess. We have not watched the film. This page is a short guide to the verified facts, plus a few ways to judge whether it suits you.

Release date, streaming and a note on conflicting labels

The film reached cinemas on 20 February 2026, per Wikipedia. On streaming, search coverage names ETV Win as the platform that acquired the rights, with a start date of 12 March 2026 reported. One listing also mentioned Prime Video, which we could not corroborate, so check ETV Win first. Because Wikipedia does not state the platform or date itself, we have not entered an OTT date in our data.

Listings also disagree on genre, calling it variously a romantic comedy or a family drama, and on running time, which appears as about 137 minutes in one place and about 2 hours 11 minutes in another. We list it as a family-leaning drama only because Wikipedia files it under drama, and we do not publish a runtime.

Reception reports and how to read them

Press reaction was reported as divided. The search summary we saw cites The Hans India as calling it a wholesome family entertainer at 3 out of 5, and The New Indian Express rating it 1.5 out of 5, criticising direction and screenplay. We did not open those reviews ourselves, so we present them only as reported and add no verdict of our own.

Such a wide spread between critics is a useful signal in itself: it suggests the film's appeal may depend on how much you value a gentle, family-oriented tone against tighter craft. If a quiet Telugu drama with a modest scale appeals, the supporting cast of Rajkumar Kasireddy, Vadlamani Srinivas and Gemini Suresh may be of interest, though their roles are not stated in the listings we saw.

Technical credits and where to look next

Search coverage credits Kranthi Varla with the cinematography, Pavan Narava with the editing and Prashanth R Vihari with the music. For a plot synopsis, the safest route is the makers' own channels or the platform page once you can open it. We will not pad this page with guesses about the story.
