Vash Level 2 (2025)

Vash Level 2 2025: what this Gujarati sequel is

Vash Level 2 is a 2025 Gujarati supernatural psychological horror film and the follow-up to the 2023 release Vash. It is written and directed by Krishnadev Yagnik, who is credited on the film's Wikipedia page as the sole director and writer. Some entertainment sites mention a second director name, so credits are not perfectly consistent across the web; we go with the Wikipedia credit here.

The story is placed twelve years after the first film. Atharva, played by Hitu Kanodia, is still living with the aftermath of what his daughter Aarya went through earlier. When a run of disturbing incidents involving schoolgirls begins, the old fear returns and he has to face it again. That is all we will say about the plot, since this is a spoiler-free overview.

We have not watched the film, so this page is a guide to what is publicly known and what a viewer might want to know in advance, not a verdict.

Cast and crew as listed

Janki Bodiwala returns as Aarya, the character at the centre of the first film's supernatural trouble. Hitu Kanodia plays Atharva. Hiten Kumar is listed in a dual role as Pratap and Rajnath, the latter described as Pratap's brother. Monal Gajjar appears as Rashmika, a school principal, and Vish Rawal is credited as Vidya. Hency Bapat, Chetan Daiya and Prem Gadhavi are also in the cast list.

Behind the camera, the producers are Kalpesh Soni and Krunal Soni. Cinematography is credited to Prashant Gohel and Haresh S. Bhanushali, editing to Shivam Bhatt, and music to Andrew Samuel. Wikipedia gives the runtime as 103 minutes, which makes it a fairly compact horror outing.

If you liked the first Vash, the returning leads are the obvious draw. If you are new to the series, note that this is a sequel and the character relationships lean on the earlier story.

Release date and where to watch

According to the Wikipedia entry, the release was announced on 4 June 2025 and the film reached cinemas on 27 August 2025, with a Hindi-dubbed version titled Vash Vivash Level 2. The same page states that it began streaming on Netflix on 22 October 2025 in Gujarati and Hindi. Entertainment site Filmibeat reports the same Netflix date. Streaming catalogues change by region, so check the Netflix listing in your own country before planning a watch.

The central appeal is a regional horror sequel that tries to keep a family drama at its core while using school-set scares. Gujarati cinema has been producing more genre films recently, and this series is one of the better-known examples, though we are not making claims about quality we cannot verify.
