Bebe Main Badmash Banuga (2026)

Bebe Main Badmash Banuga 2026: the film at a glance

Bebe Main Badmash Banuga 2026 is a Punjabi-language film directed by Sukhminder Dhanjal, who is also credited as a writer alongside Gurpreet Bhullar and Nihal Purba. The title, roughly 'Mother, I will become a bad guy', hints at a coming-of-age story built on a son's wish to be seen as tough. Music is credited to Crowny Singh.

Sources describe the story differently. Film-database summaries speak of a soft-natured nursing student who is teased for his innocence and chooses to rebrand himself as a hard man. The British Board of Film Classification instead outlines a gangster-in-training who kidnaps a prominent businessman's daughter to impress his boss and is pulled into deceit. These may be two angles on the same plot, or one summary may be loose, so we treat the premise as partly unconfirmed. We have not watched the film.

Cast, crew and runtime

The BBFC record names Aveera Singh Masson, Jagjeet Sandhu and Raghavv Bbhanot. Jagjeet Sandhu is also a producer with Rrupaali Gupta. Box Office Mojo lists Samreet Bajwa and Pathe France lists Ashish Duggal among the cast, so the full cast list is not settled across sources, and we leave out character names that we could not verify.

Runtime is given as 129 minutes by the BBFC and Box Office Mojo, while Pathe France says two and a half hours. Genre labels also vary between action, drama, comedy and romance, which suggests a mixed-tone commercial Punjabi film rather than a single-note one.

Release date and where to watch

The film's theatrical release is dated 6 February 2026 in listings from the BBFC, Box Office Mojo and Sacnilk, with Rising Star Entertainment handling distribution in several overseas markets and a French release listed for 11 February. We found no confirmed OTT platform or streaming date; one tracker marks OTT as not available. If you want to watch it, follow the official channels for a streaming announcement.

The film suits Punjabi-cinema viewers who enjoy action-led stories with a youthful hook and a mother-and-son flavour in the title, and those who follow newer Punjabi directors. It is probably not aimed at viewers who want a quiet, realist drama.

Since the premise summaries do not fully agree and the cast list differs from site to site, the most reliable way to know what you are getting is the official trailer and the distributor's own page. We have deliberately avoided guessing at plot turns or performances, and we do not quote box-office figures, which vary by tracker.
